Hello! I’m Nic, glad you are here.
I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate under the supervision of Emilee Aschenbrenner, MS, LPC-S. I earned my Bachelor’s degree from Texas Tech University and a Master’s in Professional Counseling from Texas Wesleyan University.
My counseling journey grew out of a passion for walking alongside people as they navigate life’s challenges, heal from past wounds, and rediscover meaning and purpose. I work with both adolescents and adults in individual and group settings, with special focus in the areas of addiction and early sobriety, trauma resolution, ADHD, anxiety, men’s issues, divorce, and relationship dynamics.
In therapy, I draw from multiple approaches—including Restoration Therapy, Internal Family Systems (IFS), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Mindfulness, and EMDR—tailoring each to fit your unique needs. My goal is to create a safe, steady space where you can pause, reflect, and begin turning toward lasting change.
Outside of counseling, you’ll often find me hiking, at the gym, or spending time with my two daughters. I’d love to connect with you for a free 15-minute consultation. This time allows us to talk through what you’re looking for in therapy and explore whether we might be a good fit.
