Hello! I have been serving the community of Flower Mound for over 10 years and am the founder and owner of Living Perspective Counseling, Inc. My goal has been to create a collaborative group practice with clinicians I know personally and professionally to support each other and our clients! I am credentialed as a Licensed Professional Counselor Supervisor (LPC-S) and received my Master’s Degree in Counseling and Development from Texas Women’s University. I earned my Bachelor’s in Rehabilitation Studies from the University of North Texas.  

My primary areas of focus include; substance and alcohol abuse, eating disorders, and trauma resolution. I am trained in EMDR; please contact me to further discuss how this could benefit you. What is EMDR? I am also trained in Animal Assisted Therapy from The University of North Texas and incorporate Si, the sweetest poodle you’ll ever meet!  As a LPC-S, I enjoy mentoring newer clinicians in the counseling field and walking alongside their process of becoming a professional counselor. I am also an ally and LGTBQ+ affirming.

In addition to private practice, I currently serve as clinical mental health member on the Denton County Specialty Court. I have clinical experience utilizing group and individual therapy at a dual-diagnosis residential treatment center for addictions and co-occurring mental health issues. In the past, I have worked throughout Tarrant County in schools and the community helping children and adolescents affected by alcohol and drug abuse by providing support groups, and prevention services. 

I am originally from the North Texas area and plan to stay! In my downtime, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, participating in community events and volunteering, trying new restaurants, hiking with Sammie and Si, and traveling.
